Intensa The Intensa Spanish Language Schools are a family-run business in operation since 1980. When we started out we had plenty of experience with language learning, however starting up the first school was a risk (and an adventure!) I They offer extensive expertise in English and Spanish language education. All of our teachers are trained in the Intensa methodology. They are a member of AMCHAM (American - Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce) and NAFSA Association of International Educators. Over the last 31 years, under agreements with different universities in the United States, students have received college credits for courses taken at Intensa. Currently, Intensa is Union University of Tennessee´s campus in Costa Rica. Intensa is also the authorized test center in Costa Rica for the Cambridge - Michigan certification examinations. For over fifty years, people who pass these international exams have been able to confidently tell schools and employers that they have the language skills necessary to succeed as an English speaker anywhere in the world. Now more than 30 years later, Intensa has five Spanish language schools offering a wide variety of lesson choices, and a combined staff of 145 teachers and administrators. Hotel Villas Playa Samara The resort opened its doors to the public on December 1992. Carrillo Adventures They are a transportation company dedicated to the safe and fun transport of tourists throughout all of Costa Rica to most of the major destinations this beautiful country has to offer. Located in Carrillo Beach, Guanacaste, on the pacific coast, Carrillo Adventures offers 10 years of experience in personal transportation. They offer private sightseeing tours and excursions accompanied by professional and authorized tourist guides or by knowledgeable and English speaking drivers. Group Lessons After an assessment of your language level you will be placed in a group with the same level and objectives as yourself. Groups are usually ranging from 2-6 students and are composed of people from different backgrounds. You will be able to socialize and make friends from around the world as well as learn Spanish with local people while experiencing the beautiful Costa Rica and one of its best spots.
