Pylmon Languages specializes in Spanish for foreigners. Located in the centre of Barcelona, near from Plaza Catalunya, the school is in a modernist building of late 19th century, in the Eixample district. The school has nine air-conditioned classrooms, all with natural light, a conference hall, a free-access Internet room (and Wireless), a book/DVD library and a spacious room where the students can meet their classmates and have a coffee. In an enjoyable environment along with dedicated and enthusiastic professionals, our aim is to enable the student to actively communicate and interact in a wide range of communicative situations and contexts while they get to know the culture of Spain. All our teachers are university graduates who have been trained to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language. The methodology we use is based on giving the students solid grammar/vocabulary knowledge so that they develop their communication skills, improving their linguistic performance in the business, personal and professional environment. The students can choose between a wide range of courses all year around in small groups, the classes start every Monday: Intensive (10, 20 or 30 hours/week), DELE preparation, business Spanish, private lessons, groups, classes in company and others. Chinese, Japanese, English, French and Catalan are taught in Pylmon as well. Tthe groups are small which makes your learning process more personalized and efficient, and all of the teachers are native and qualified with experience. The school offers cultural and leisure activities with the purpose of getting to know Barcelona and its surroundings, while practicing the language and meeting both students from other groups and teachers. Each day we propose some cultural activities in the city (for instance: Gaudi Tour, Gothic Tour, Montjuic…), free activities at the school (cinema sessions), and excursions during the week end (to the Montserrat mountain, to the Dali Museum in Figueres for example). The school can also arrange accommodation according to the needs of the students, in families, apartments, student’s residences, hotels or private apartments/studios. Also, we offer an airport pick-up service that takes the student directly from the airport of Barcelona or Girona to their accommodation.
