DILE is a modern school in Salamanca, a beautiful historic university city with a lively, youthful and cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is the ideal place to learn Spanish surrounded by Spanish culture and to make friends at the same time. DILE is situated five minutes\' walk from the famous Plaza Mayor, the heart of this lively city\'s community and student life. DILE has audiovisual and computer equipment, a library and video library and comfortable, light classrooms with heating and air conditioning. Most importantly, DILE has an efficient communicative teaching method, expert, approachable teachers and strict quality control. Students learn quickly in our very small classes, enjoying the school’s friendly, lively atmosphere. At DILE we have very small groups (average 5 students, maximum 8), allowing our students to make extremely fast progress in their Spanish language skills. DILE offers a wide range of courses including Standard and Flexible Programs, Special Summer Programs for Young People and for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language, Long-term Programs and Courses for Special Purposes. Our highlight is the DELE Exam Preparation Course, in which our students achieve a consistently high pass rate. Accommodation You can choose between a single or shared room, without meals or with half board or full board. DILE can arrange accommodation in host families, student residences, shared student flats or private one-person flats. We can also help students to find a room in a hotel or hostel if they wish. Our host families have been carefully chosen and are continually evaluated by our students. They live near DILE, so you can walk to class in 5 to 20 minutes. When you live with a host family, you can practise your Spanish outside the classroom and experience Spanish life and culture first-hand. The university residences are in the city centre, between 10 and 20 minutes’ walk from DILE. They have a youthful atmosphere and you can meet students from many different countries. In student flats you will share the kitchen and bathroom with other students, who may be Spanish or from other countries. The courses are supplemented with extracurricular activities, so that the students gain a deeper knowledge of Spanish life.
